Dr. Birat Timilsina +2 Science (Second Batch), SWSC
I was in search of good college in Kathmandu Valley to start my +2 Science. I came across lots
of colleges, and the decision to choose one was tough. On the same time frame, education expo
was going on in Bhrikutimandap, and I decided to visit it once. The very first time I came across
the name of SWSC was at that expo.
Considering that, it came as an option for my buck-list for colleges to sort out. Then, I gave
entrance exam for +2 Science at SWSC, and luckily my name was on top of the list. Considering
my SLC marks and performance on entrance exam, I got chance to study in 100% scholarship.
So, I chose SWSC and never have I regret about my decision thereafter.
Two years of my time in that college was one of the memorable moments I cherish about. I got
chance to have some awesome friends, who are still my daily conversation buddies. The faculties
and administration were always focused on overall development of students. Experienced and
top-class teachers were the best assets of SWSC, I think. Science exhibitions and other extra-
curricular activities used to be organized in regular basis that enhance to explore the talent of
students in that field.
Since pre-med/pre-engineering teaching institutions were quite far from our college to attain
class in regular basis, we requested the college faculties and administration about starting those
classes within college premises. The response from them was overwhelming, they immediately
responded and started classes along with provided materials in co-ordination with Vibrant. I
think that response from the side of the college and those classes were the very reasons I was
successful to crack MBBS MOE scholarship in my first attempt. Currently, I am working as a
Medical Officer.
Thinking retrospectively, it was my best decision to choose SWSC to pursue my +2 career. I will
always be thankful to SWSC.
