Our Response to COVID-19

Health Safety Protocol Followed at SWSC during Pandemic

Southwestern State College, Basundhara, Kathmandu took every precaution both inside and outside the classroom to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It was found quite effective in controlling the spread of the virus to some extent. All the teachers and staff at the college played a very active role to continue the teaching learning activities through the online platform. When the government decided to reopen the schools/colleges, SWSC followed the safety measures such as physical distancing at school, practicing health and hand hygiene, cleaning and disinfecting the classroom, taking proper actions if a student appears sick, etc. SWSC established some college rules in accordance with the procedures established by the Ministry of Health and Population/or local health bodies and authorities. Moreover, the college followed other measures like wearing face masks, wearing globes, wearing face shields, using hand-sanitizers, etc.

Vaccination Programs

Southwestern State School/ College organized two vaccination programs (First and Second Dose) to all of our school/ college level students.
