Southwestern State College takes pride in its growing network of over 5,000 alumni who have excelled across various fields both in Nepal and abroad. SWSC alumni are actively contributing to sectors such as business, education, healthcare, social work, engineering, technology, government, and entrepreneurship. Many have pursued higher education at prestigious national and international institutions, while others have become impactful leaders and professionals in their respective industries. The college maintains strong ties with its alumni, recognizing them as valuable members of the Southwestern community who continue to inspire current students through their achievements and experiences.

SESON (Southwestern Ex-students’ Organization)

Southwestern Ex-students’ Organization (SESON) is an alumni association of Southwestern State college established in 2015 to promote friendship and mutual understanding among ex-students of the College. The organization provides a platform for the exchange knowledge and skills among SESON members, and conducts various educational, socio-cultural, and environmental programs for promoting better education, health, and employment opportunities for the students in the country. Recently, the organization has been engaged in conducting various training programs such as Academic Proposal Writing, Business Proposal Writing, Thesis Writing, and Case Studies for the students belonging to a different genre of studies.

"I'm incredibly grateful for the journey I've had and where I stand today. Being a part of the very first batch at SWSC was both humbling and exciting. The experience I gained there still lives with me — from the supportive and down-to-earth faculty to the lifelong friendships I built. I majored in Marketing, and today, as the proprietor of FishyFlex Aquarium in Basundhara, I can confidently say that the leadership training and skills I learned at SWSC have played a big part in shaping my path. I’m still in touch with many of my batchmates and faculty members — and I truly cherish every memory made on that campus. Thank you, SWSC, for helping me grow into who I am today.

“Southwestern State College (SWSC) is a chapter of my life that I hold close to my heart. It wasn’t just a place of education, it was my foundation. SWSC supported me not only academically but also financially, at a time when I had very little. That support became the turning point in my journey. Today, as a karate champion and a Premier League bronze medalist, I look back with deep gratitude. SWSC believed in me when I had nothing, and that belief helped shape the person I am today. I hope the college continues to support and uplift aspiring athletes, just like it did for me. Thank you, SWSC, for being the stepping stone in my journey to success.

2022 +2 BATCH | Karate Champion

Southwestern State College was the place where I truly found balance. It wasn’t just about textbooks and exams, SWSC gave equal importance to sports, and that meant everything to me. Because of that support, I was able to focus on both my academic journey and my passion for karate. I went on to win gold medals at the 7th and 8th South Asian Games, and today, I’m proud to be working as a karate trainer in different schools. I’m genuinely thankful to SWSC for believing in me, for uplifting me, and for creating an environment where both my dreams could grow together, in the classroom and on the field. It’s a place that shaped not just my career, but who I am.
