Visit to SOS Children’s Village, Kavre

Students of Social Work of Southwestern State College, Basundhara from BSW first year visited the SOS Children’s Village, Kavre to expand the extra knowledge in social work. Social Work Faculty, Loknath Dulal and Academic Counsellor, Milan Neupane were included in the visit team to facilitate the students. The team departed at 9:45 am from the college and reached the destination at 11 am. The program director, Ms. Palpasa Bajracharya of the SOS Children’s Village presented well about its establishment to recent activities. The village has 14 homes and each home includes 10 children with a mother. It means there are altogether 140 students in the village. All children are orphan or semi orphan.  The organization is running from the charity of foreigners.
